The 'Coaching Lite' Programme

This is an online programme with some coaching support.

It is suitable for managers who want to make their own way, at their own pace, yet have some support and help.

This programme is best for those managers who want to work through the programme as a process to achieve higher levels of
productivity and engagement by the end, rather than just being ideas seekers.

The coaching is there to help the manager find creative ways over obstacles and to help with the practical details of implementing the programme.

It is called 'Coaching Lite' as the coaching aspect is there if you need it, or at critical points in the programme. This will be discussed with you when you start. You have email contact at all times, but coaching is limited and based on telephone contact. This arrangement is less expensive than full coaching, and will concentrate your mind to get the best out of a coaching session!

How it works

The external tutor will usually contact the manager during the first week to discuss an overall approach to the programme. Thereafter the manager has two other forms of support. Firstly there is email support - questions can be raised via email as the manager goes through the programme.

The manager can also request three support telephone calls to go through any particular application points. This is like a phone a friend. The external tutor, during the initial telephone call will point out three points in the programme where this might be useful, but it is up to the manager to decide. If the telephone calls are not taken, the external tutor will normally make contact at the end of the programme to see whether the manager needs any additional support.

Please note that there is a limit to the number who can be taken on this programme to ensure that there is sufficiency of personal support. Also note that there is a window of coaching support for three months from the start of the programme, after which the coaching opportunity stops.
